You may recognize that quote from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I hope you do because that's how I feel right now as I prepare to launch the Second Edition of SPIRIT for its 5-year anniversary.

Five years! Since then, I've published two more. One of them, PERCEPTION, was the second in the SPIRIT series.

For anyone curious about this series, there will be six in all. I'm shoulder-deep in the next book, INSIGHT, but don't get too excited. Though the story is nearly all fleshed out, the editing process has only just begun.

So, now what? As well as writing INSIGHT, and promoting PERCEPTION, the relaunch of SPIRIT brings me to the next exciting phase of publishing--interviewing narrators for the audiobooks. Another steep learning curve ahead.

While I'm buried in all this, I still find time to chill. It's a must in the current political climate; when each time I open social media or turn on the television, I'm bombarded with madness. So I find myself buried in my happy place: at home, seated at my desk, or out in the garden, working on something fun and fulfilling. It's busy work, yet not work at all since I love it.
